Picaroon Cold Brew Coffee Rum Liqueur begins with our award-winning Picaroon Rum, which we slow ferment from cane syrup rather than the more common blackstrap molasses and distill in small batches in our custom-made copper pot still, yielding an intensely aromatic yet extremely clean white rum. Once the rum is distilled, we infuse it with classic Caribbean spices—whole vanilla beans and allspice berries—and sweeten it with the same house-made caramel syrup used for our perennial favorite Sloop Betty Caramel Vodka. In the final step, we cold brew coffee from single-origin Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company Roastmaster's Reserve Nicaragua Las Camelias Estate beans and blend in the resulting coffee. The low acidity coffee adds bright notes of orange peel to the blend of rum, spices, and natural caramel. A portion of the proceeds from the coffee beans goes to benefit Paul's Place Outreach, a local driver of positive change and healthy living in Southwest Baltimore.

2 oz Sloop Betty Vodka
1 oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur
Heavy cream

Add Sloop Betty and Picaroon Coffee to an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Top with a large splash of heavy cream and stir.

 

NIGHT ON THE CARIBBEAN

2 oz Picaroon White Rum
1 oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur
Heavy cream

Add Picaroon White and Picaroon Coffee to an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Top with a large splash of heavy cream and stir.

 

ESPRESSO MARTINI

2 oz Sloop Betty Vodka
1 oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur
1 oz freshly brewed espresso

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously, and strain into a cocktail glass.

 

 

BLACKWATER BLACK RUSSIAN

2 oz Sloop Betty Vodka
1 oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur

Add Sloop Betty and Picaroon Coffee to an old fashioned glass filled with ice and stir. Garnish with a lemon peel.

 

THE ANNAPOLIS

2½ oz Blackwater Finishing Barrel Series Whiskey (or rye whiskey)
¾ oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur
¼ oz sweet vermouth

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir vigorously with a bar spoon, strain into a cocktail glass, and garnish with a cherry.

2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 oz Picaroon Coffee Liqueur
